She is the daughter of Kelly Earnhardt Miller, who is the co-owner of JR Motorsports, and former NASCAR crew chief Jimmy Elledge.

Karsyn Elledge, the granddaughter of 7-time NASCAR Cup championship winner Dale Earnhardt and niece of Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr, will drive in the 2023 Chilli Bowl Nationals. She is the daughter of Kelly Earnhardt Miller, who is the co-owner of JR Motorsports, and former NASCAR crew chief Jimmy Elledge.

Karsyn became famous in her teens hosting NASCAR Hammer Down, a Nickelodeon Nicktoons television series. She established herself as a capable racer by winning two heats in the 2019 Chilli Bowl nationals. But she failed to make further solid progress and now races part-time in regional seeress.

She will enter the 2023 Chilli Bowls, the premier midget car race in the United States. The events will take place in Tulsa, Oklahoma from Monday, January 9, and will end with the grand event on January 14 Saturday. There are 367 in this year’s event, and she will have to win the heat races that will take place on the weekdays to progress to the finale.

NASCAR Cup Series regulars Alex Bowman and Chase Briscoe will be the major entries of this season. The HMS driver will field three cars for the series. Both drivers will compete in Monday’s qualifying event. They are joined by fellow cup racers Josh Bilicki and J.J. Yeley. Truck series driver Carson Hocevar will be another driver to look up to in the race.

Two Cup series giants and Chilli Bowl champions won’t run in the 2023 edition of the event

The major absentees of the 2023 annual event are Kyle Larson of Hendrick Motorsports and Christopher Bell of Joe Gibbs Racing. The duo is one of the most dominant drivers in the midget race history. Bell won three consecutive titles starting in 2017. Larson won the events in 2020 and 2021. The 2022 season winner was Tanner Thorson.

Kyle Larson is missing the 2023 race to remain with his family who welcomed their third child. Larson and his wife Katelyn were blessed with a baby boy Cooper Donald Larson. The 2021 Cup Champion has a daughter Audrey Layne Larson and a son Owen Miyata Larson.

Joe Gibbs Racing’s high-flying young Christopher Bell reportedly decided not to run this year due to the poor prize pool of the event. He has been critical of the purse for a long time. Chili Bowl promoter Emmett Hahn claims that the prize money is the maximum they can afford since holding indoor races is costly.
