We hosted a Facebook Q&A with Rachel Zoe today to celebrate the release of her new book Living In Style (available tomorrow!), and like we expected, it was "maj"! For thirty minutes she combed through the almost 200 questions submitted on Facebook to offer up her best advice on fashion, beauty, home decor, and more. Scroll down to see four of our favorite questions and answers from the chat, including her response to our editor Ariel Foxman's question, and then head to our Facebook page to check out the full Q&A.
What's the best advice you received that still rings true for you today and who gave you that advice? -- Sheila Lee I would say always be kind to people. I don't believe that in order to be successful that you have to step on people. Always treat people kindly and they will be more motivated to work with you.
If you could save three fashion items in a time capsule from your closet, to be opened by your great grand-kids, in 100 years, what would they be? -- InStyle editor, Ariel FoxmanI would say...my first engagement ring from Rodger, my first Birkin—that Rodger gave me—and...anything Tom Ford.
What do think is your most important piece of advice from this book that your readers should take with them? -- Jordan McMichaelI would say that you don't need to have money to be glamorous, and you don't need to be famous -- you just need to be creative and take an extra few minutes to look good and feel good about yourself...and a smile is everything!
What's your favorite room in your house? -- KP FusionI would say my bedroom because it's really large and dream-like. It has lots of natural sunlight which is just my favorite.
